Robert Colbert is owner and principal consultant of R. Colbert Business Consulting. His firm provides diversity consulting based on the challenges of change and associated human barriers. R. Colbert Consulting also develops business and marketing plans for clients and provides financial leadership and analysis to support client operations.

Robert Colbert has over 30 years of experience in the corporate world.  He began his career in public accounting, continued into the private sector of Corporate America, worked in higher education finance, and became a business consultant.  During his career, he’s had assignments in audit, finance, corporate development, technical sales, marketing, non-profit finance, accounting and business consulting.  His interest is helping others focus and apply their business and creative skills to their passions.

His educational credentials include a BA from Minnesota State University, Mankato and an MBA from the Executive Program of the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.  He is also a CPA and holder of a U.S. patent.  In addition, he teaches Tai Chi in the Minneapolis community and serves on the boards of Cammack Marshall Fund For Children and Cleveland Neighborhood Association.
